Commonly used Materials

Steel:	440 C, ATS 34 and Stainless Steel Damascus

Preferred Finish:	A high gloss mirror polish (a fine hand rubbed satin finish can be done if prefered)

Heat Treatment :	Vacuum furnace hardening and tempering to 59 Rockwell C

Coachwork:	Grade 303 Stainless Steel

Handle Materials:	African hardwoods, horn, bone and ivories

Sheaths:	Laminated Buffalo/Cattle Hide sheaths hand stitched and formed to fit each knife
